Audition Call – Antigone

Antigone – Directed by Brian Van Duyn

We are holding auditions for the ‘Antigone’ of Sophocles, in a version by Marianne McDonald, for an all-female cast. Please see the audition pack and form below.

We are also looking for some assistance for the stage management and control room crews. So, if you are interested in that please send the ‘audition’ form suitably noted.

Rehearsal Dates:

• Table Read: TBA

• Rehearsals: From w/c (TBC) Tue & Thu evenings 19:30–22:00 (TBC) Saturdays 10:00–13:00 & 14:00–17:00 (TBC)

• Get in and Tech: Sun 15^th March 2026

• Dress: Mon 16^th Jan 2026

• Everyman Clubroom, Chapter

• Fri 7^th Nov 7-9pm

• Sun 9^th Nov 10-1pm [plus afternoon session – TBA]

• Recalls: Mon 10^th 7-9pm

An audition form is provided; please send as an attachment to your email. We will confirm your audition by return and provide an appropriate audition ‘reading’ extract if you have chosen a specific role.

Preparation: Please include as much information as possible on the accompanying form and send it when booking your audition. You do not need to learn anything in advance but a selection of extracts will be made available for you at the audition.
