What does being a member of Everyman Theatre mean to you?
I have only recently become a member of Everyman, having been part of the cast for Blue Stockings, but in this short time I have found the community here to be incredibly dedicated to the theatre, and a joy to be around. The cast and backstage team were so inspiring and supportive. I had not been on stage in 20 years since being a part of my local youth theatre group and playing the pantomime villain in last year at school; I had forgotten just how much I love the theatre, but Everyman has reminded me.
What experiences and opportunities have you enjoyed during your membership?
I only have one memory to draw on so far - Blue Stockings - but that one is going to be very hard to replace!
What have you learned about yourself from being a part of Everyman Theatre?
If you have a passion for the theatre - onstage, backstage or both - and whether you are experienced, a newcomer, or like me, somewhere in the middle, then getting involved in Everyman is the only sensible choice! There are a lot of very talented people to learn from and I can't wait to see what opportunities come next.
