“Every artform is trying to be music” – music is a soundtrack to our lives. Drama in a piece of theatre never progresses at the same pace. It slows, accelerates, peaks, pauses, becomes whimsical, tragic, comic and threatening.

Using visual & physical tools, music and UV light to heighten the experience, we’ll explore how using music as an auditory and symbolic medium can create very strong atmospheres in a piece of theatre. This workshop is created to be a catalyst for every performer to think about their craft.

Participants should wear black or very dark clothes and to think about their favourite piece of music, from punk to classical, disco to opera.
