Clubnight: US Political Speech Night! Presented by Richard Jones.

With the US 2024 presidential elections taking place on Tuesday 5 Nov 2024, please bring along and perform a US political speech!

Speeches must be part of the US political process, so whether its past or present, living or dead, a president, vice-president, presidential candidate, senator, governor or any type of speech that is part of the American political process or political cause / campaign (e.g Martin Luther King), please come along and perform it! This is a celebration of the US political process and its flamboyant Rhetoric!

There are plenty of transcripts of speeches on the internet, and the website www.americanrhetoric.com is a good place to start searching. Please keep speeches to 4 minutes, so you may need to do some editing beforehand as speeches tend to go on a bit longer than that in their entirety!

There will also be plenty of cut down versions of famous speeches available on the night or in advance.
