Clubnight: My Favourite Play

Richard Jones presents an evening of scenes selected from the favourite plays of Everyman clubnight members.

Do you have a favourite play? Perhaps this could be one that you have been involved with, either on or off stage, or one that you have only watched / read and might now be keen to perform in it yourself.

This could be a much loved popular classic or something less well known that you would like to see performed more often. It could even be a new piece of writing.

Please bring along one short scene (3-4 mins in duration) from your chosen play and be prepared to rehearse and perform this during the clubnight. Preferably, this would be a scene with 2-3 characters to allow for ease of rehearsal and performance on the night. Also, be prepared to say a few words about the play beforehand and why you have picked this play as your favourite.

There will of course be some scenes from a selection of popular plays available to rehearse and perform on the night.
