Clubnight: Melting Pot – Stanislavski Workshop with Paul Clements

One of the most influential theatre practitioners of the 20th century was Konstantin Stanislavski (1863-1938). His system of actor training and preparation, more widely known as ‘The Method’, remains current today. This practical workshop will examine some of the key elements of Stanislavski’s system.

Everyman members who wish to take part should be prepared to participate in improvisations free of any pressure to feel they must be witty, amusing or ‘entertaining’. Stanislavski was most concerned that acting should be honest, believable and true to life.
