Clubnight: Mastering a Chicago Accent with Reference to Other US Accents and the Differences with Marilyn Le Conte

Marilyn Le Conte is a leading dialect and acting coach, as well as an experienced director.

In the session Marilyn will look at American accents but particularly the Chicago variation required in ‘The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui.’

It will be of general use also in adding to performance skills as it’s good to understand the variations, so that when a US accent is required, you don’t mix them. Some short extracts from ‘Arturo Ui’ will be used to work on in the session.
