Grahame Lloyd, a writer, journalist and broadcaster, has written a play about Cardiff City winning the FA CUP in April 1927.
The play uses newsreel film and historical archives, focussing on the lives of Fred Keenor, captain and centre half and Hugh Ferguson, who scored the only goal at Wembley.
He has asked Everyman to help in the development of this exciting project before the centenary in 2027.
We’ll be previewing three scenes of the play in ‘book in hand’ performances and also hearing from Grahame his ideas for the play going forward.
