Audition announcement for the 2022 festival 

Most of our cast from 2020 have stayed with us for 2022, but we have a couple of opportunities to join the casts. We are looking for Lieutenant George for Blackadder Goes Forth and Sebastian for Twelfth Night.

More information about Lt. The Hon. George Colthurst St Barleigh MC from Blackadder Goes Forth (directed by Simon H West) –

A dim-witted upper class twit. Along with Baldrick, George is a constant irritant to Captain Blackadder. Despite being stuck in the trenches for three years, his bubble-headed enthusiastic naiveté reveals a startling lack of awareness of the seriousness of his circumstances.

The role requires a strong performer with good comic skills. This is a leading role and attendance at all rehearsals is vital. You will be asked to read from the script in the audition.

Rehearsals will begin in late April/early May.

Viola’s lost twin brother. When he arrives in Illyria, travelling with Antonio, his close friend and protector, Sebastian discovers that many people think they know him. Furthermore, the beautiful Lady Olivia, whom he has never met, wants to marry him. Sebastian remains confused until his sister reveals himself.

Please prepare one speech from Sebastian for your audition.
