HANCOCK’S MISSING HALF HOUR

Over 100 episodes of “Hancock’s Half Hour” were produced and broadcast, first on BBC radio in 1954 and then on TV in 1956. They received critical acclaim and made a star of the cantankerous Tony Hancock.

Writers Ray Galton and Alan Simpson became legends.

Sadly, many recordings of the original series were destroyed. Fortunately, the scripts survive. In this club night, there will be a script-in-hand performance of one classic missing episode:
