* A short introduction about radio drama and audio in general, where it fits into an actor’s working life, why it is a unique form for the actor and for the listener – in different ways – and why it’s fun and liberating.
* How different it is to all other forms of acting, what sort of skills are needed, dismiss a few myths, and how to improve skills.
* Then, a few fun exercises which everyone will hopefully find easy and eye opening, prove – to their surprise – that they knew all along how to do it, they just didn’t know they did! I aim to make it a very simple, informative and useful exercise, nobody will feel exposed or uncomfortable.
* You’ll find attached two sets of song lyrics. Please can you prep them for the session if you wish to participate practically or you may choose some other lyrics by Lennon/ McCartney or Rodgers and Hammerstein or Lerner and Loewe.
Entry code is the same as in previous weeks and will be included in next week’s Communications email. The Host will be Simon Futty.
