Melting Pot: Antonin Artaud Workshop with Kevin Lewis
Wednesday 13 January 8pm

Exploring physical theatre inspired by the ideas of Antonin Artaud.

Antonin Artaud (1896 – 1948) was a French dramatist, poet, essayist, actor and theatre director, widely recognised as one the major figures of 20th century theatre and the European avant garde.

Kevin Lewis is an actor, director and teacher. He was formerly the Artistic Director of Theatr Iolo, a position he held for 30 years. He now works freelance throughout the UK.

This practical Zoom workshop will consist of individual, pairs and group exercises and will culminate in creating a short improvised performance that will bring to life a text / story in an Artaudian style.
