Clubnight: 2019 Festival Marketing!

A message from the illustrious Toby Harris…

“I will be running a workshop based clubnight on 5 December for the Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival, Everyman 2019 Marketing.

Context

It has been my firm belief that Everyman is missing a massive opportunity in not using the festival to help promote Everyman as a whole.  I believe the Festival should be used as Everyman’s trade show to demonstrate the opportunities potential new members can enjoy and exposing Everyman to a wider demographic.

We are an amazing company – the impact Everyman makes in enriching the community of Cardiff, the recent remembrance productions a case in point. its contribution to promoting new writing and the inspiring work of the youth group. How many other companies can boast a choice of workshops, an evenings entertainment and a meeting place of like minds for free once a week?  We also have our own training and development arm in the form of Melting Pot.

All of the above goes unnoticed at the Festival – I think that’s a terrible shame.  The Festival Marketing Workshop Clubnight seeks to address that.  If you share my view come along – make a contribution and see how you can help promote Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival, Everyman 2019 for, dare I say, the many and not the few.

Aim of session:

To engage the wider membership of Everyman in the marketing of Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival, Everyman 2019.  Specifically the workshop will seek to address the gab between the festival and Everyman as a whole.  It will also be an opportunity to construct a team of people to carry specific tasks required to promote the Festival.”
